Easy to make! Make your own version of this fashionable bracelet

Completed Project: Metal Chain Bracelet Picture #1

Metal Chain Bracelet

Description
For this bracelet, I used only materials found at home. The satin ribbon used to be attached to a sweater, the nylon string used to be attached to a pricetag on a pair of jeans, and the metal wallet chain is some old crap laying around. Recycling is important!
Instructions
  1. 1
    Step 1
You start out with a strong and thick nylon string.
  2. 2
    Step 2
You will also need one of these big old wallet chains. You can buy 'em anywhere, or grab your brothers ;D.
  3. 3
    Step 3
Remove the metal loop, and the hook-thingie. You want to be left with just the chain.
  4. 4
    Step 4
Now, tie one end of the nylon string to one end of the chain, and begin "threading" the string to the chain. (Make sure to leave a small piece of string when tying the string and chain togheter!). Every third link should do the trick, so that when you release the tension of the nylon string, the chain tangles into a tighter pattern.
  5. 5
    Step 5
When finished threading the whole chain, cut the nylon string and tie it to the other end, to form a circle (try the bracelet on your wrist before tying it all together!). Use your satin ribbon to tie a cute little bow, hiding the ugly knot!
Got it? If not, please ask. Enjoy your crafting :)
