Recycled projects for kids: EasyTutorial

Bracelet Tutorial

I have a ton of ribbon at home, so as I was going through my ribbon stash, to see what I have left, and what is not worth keeping, it came to mind that with the little pieces I could do some bracelets for my kids, and some of the kids in primary. so here's a tutorial and I hope you like it.....

Materials:

Grosgrain ribbon 7/8''
Self adhesive Velcro or sew on Velcro (I like the self adhesive better, is quicker!)
Synthetic flowers (small ones if its for a child, big ones for adults)
Hot glue gun and glue sticks (of course!)
A button, jewel, or any other decoration for the center of the flower (I used a button)

Here we go:

Measure some ribbon on your wrist or your child's

Make sure to seal both ends of ribbon so it doesn't fray. Then fold your ribbon in half to know where the middle is.

Cut the back of each flower you are using

Take the flowers apart, and organize them from large to small

Add a dab of hot glue on the center of the ribbon

and start gluing the flowers from large

to small, you can add as many as you would like

Add a dab of hot glue in the center of the last flower, and place a button, jewel, or the same center of the flower in the middle.

Cut a piece of Velcro and sew it or glue it to the front end

and back end of the ribbon

put it on your child's wrist

and voila! a pretty ribbon and flower bracelet

you can also cut the ribbon a little larger and make it as a headband with a big flower

I love it!!!!
